[REVIEW] Cafe House Binjai

Hello everyoneee! Today, I decided to get a lunch at a cafe near my school. This time, I went to Cafe House Binjai.

Hours: 10 AM-10 PM

This cafe's concept is modern industrial(i guess?), but the vibe is so cozy and comfortable. I sat indoor on the second floor, but you can also sit on the first floor or outdoors. The location is also strategic and easy to reach from Jalan Ahmad Yani. There are lots of students(like me😊) or office workers eating their lunch here. 

I ordered a lot for review purposes, so... here is what I ordered:

Pan Seared Salmon Steak (IDR 98k)

I loooove salmon so much. If there's only one food I could eat in the world, I would choose to eat salmon. There aren't a lot of cafés or restaurants that serves salmon, so I'm very lucky because I can eat salmon in Binjai😆😆

The salmon is well-cooked, with fries, salad, and their signature BBQ sauce. It's quite delicious, but the sweer-sour-BBQ sauce is kind of not complementing the fatty, juicy taste of salmon. But without sauce, the salmon is quite salty. Salmon's skin kinda burnt, but acceptable taste because salmon is hard to cook properly.🐟

Fries and salad, nothing extraordinary. The fries is the kind of fries you can find anywhere. Salad, I can't say I absolutely loved it or hated it. It's like ok-ish in my opinion.

Overall, a solid 3.9/5⭐ for me.

Melted Chicken Slice (IDR 28k)

Breaded chicken slice with mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, and their BBQ sauce(again, so many dishes here uses that same BBQ sauce, but it's delicious tho😜) It's creamy and the chicken is so tender. But it's not cheeeeezy enough(I'm a cheese lover🧀) In conclusion, it is a good snack(if you order fries or rice, it's a perfect combo). I would give this 4/5⭐.

Grilled Chicken Steak (IDR 40k)

This. This is my ultimate favorite. The BBQ sauce's best pair is chicken. Nobody can change my mind. The chicken is tender, it's not undercooked or overcooked. The sweet-sour-BBQ sauce also complements the chicken smoky flavor. Absolutely tasty in my opinion. 😋

Side vegetable had a very strong garlic-y and salty taste, but if you eat it with the sauce, it is not too garlic-y and salty, better flavor. 

I'll be generous this time, I would give this 4.8/5 ⭐

The Tenderloin(IDR 88k)

Honestly, I didn't expect much about this dish. We can't request certain degree of doneness for this steak. But surprisingly, the beef is not tough or chewy. It is not very tender, but it is not tough either. The texture is quite good for its price. Again, this dish used same BBQ sauce, and it is a good pair with beef. The beefy🐮 taste and the sweet and sour sauce goes well. 

I would give this 4.6/5⭐.

Grilled Chicken Chop(IDR 42k)

Same chicken with Grilled Chicken Steak 🐔, but with creamy mushroom sauce. Not so thick, kinda watery creamy mushroom sauce, but it's delicious when eaten with chicken. The creaminess and savory taste is perfect and not overpowering. The smoky hint in the chicken surely add some extra tastiness. Definitely an alternative when I'm bored with Grilled Chicken Steak but still wanna eat grilled chicken. 

4.5/5⭐ from me.

I don't post any drink reviews because I ordered the most basic drink possible(water, Americano coffee, green tea). I'm not a fan of sweet and milky drinks, so I just reviewed the food. (Also did you notice that I ordered meat only? I'm a huge fan of meat hehe)
